Homework - School Closure
This page enables pupils to access homework when the school is closed. Please see below and click through any links provided to access work.
KS3 School Closure Work:
There are 3 pieces of work for KS3 to complete:
English: Powerful Adjectivbes (complete the sentences by adding describing words)
Science: Santa's Reindeer Dilemma (spend 30-40 minutes on this task, you don't have to answer the questions in order)
Maths: Addition and Subtraction Christmas jokes (spend 30-40 minutes on this task, you don't have to complete the jokes in order)
The answers are included so you can check your work.
KS3 Humanities work is also included - check that you have downloaded the correct worksheet for your class.

KS4 School Closure work:
KS4 English:
Take a look at the different Christmas adverts on television. Create an argument to persuade me which advert is best. How many persuasive devices can you use? Alliteration, facts, opinions, rhetorical questions, repetition, emotive language, exaggeration, statistics or list of three.
KS4 Maths:
Donard: Both surface area of cubes and cuboids sheets
Malvern: Rounding to powers of 10
KS4 Science:
Although Year 10 pupils do not usually have science lessons on Tuesday, any recap/revision is always useful! BBC bitesize offer a range of revision resources including videos, games and quizzes. Have a go at any of the AQA trilogy sections on Atomic structure, bonding, electricity, cells and photosynthesis.
